Aziza is a women’s rights activist, gender equality advocate, and self-made leader. She is a newcomer in Canada but intends to bring positive impacts in society by empowering and supporting women. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) degree and has 17+ years of working experience on women’s rights and gender-based issues. She had the privilege of working with some renowned humanitarian and development organizations such as UN, USAID, GIZ, AKDN and OXFAM at different managerial and lead levels. Currently, she works as Business Analyst with YM Inc. and is on board of directors with Immigrant Women in Business, Afghan Network for Social Services and Time Change Women Employment Agency.
Parinaz is a women’s rights and gender equality activist, and a visionary leader. She has10 years of experience in women’s empowerment and sustainable business development. She had the privilege of working with some humanitarian and development organizations such as MEDA, DAI, and CORDAID, at different managerial and coordination levels.
She is passionate about women's empowerment and social justice.
Dr. Mandana Attarzadeh is the Founder of the Flourishing Women’s Circle. She is an author, speaker and women’s empowerment coach, non-profit leader and social justice advocate.
Mandana believes that “The Flourishing Woman” is a precious human asset that can transform the world to a whole new level of vibration for love, care and happiness. She believes the gift of these women will be more beauty, peace and harmony to themselves, their families and to a world that is torn apart by violence, war and conflict. Mandana strongly believes that women can change the world to a more beautiful and peaceful place if the world invests in them to “Flourish”.
Shezma is a self-motivated professional, who is committed to help and support people in need and is passionate about building women’s capacity and supporting them. She has more than a decade of working experience in the public sector in the government of Canada.
She holds multiple certifications from Canadian institutes and a degree from Tanzania. She strongly believes in women’s financial freedom , self-reliance, and women’s leading the way for generations to come.
Shaima immigrated to Canada from Afghanistan in 2003 and became a Canadian citizen in 2006. Shaima worked hard to establish herself in Canada, including the completion of an Accounting and Payroll Administrator Diploma in 2006 and working in a variety of fields: customer service, banking, hairstyling and education, including experience in front-line and management roles. She has previous experience as a volunteer soccer coach with children. Shaima is multilingual with fluency in English, Persian and Urdu/Hindi.
She is interested in creating and maintaining an open and safe space for women to talk and work through issues that affect themselves and their families.
She is Zohra, Zoe for short. She is in the fashion industry as a makeup artist. She holds a graduate in Business Marketing and Cosmetology in Hair and Beauty diploma from St. Lawrence College Kingston.
She strongly believes in self-love, self-worth, self-acceptance, self-confidence, and self-Image.
I want to continue to inspire women and girls to work on loving and accepting themselves. I am a full force of self-love, body positivity and beauty.
Sharifa is an Afghan/Canadian. She works as a provincial lead/ representative with S4SDO in Quebec.
She has over 10 years of experience work with UN-habitat, AKDN, and Cure international Hospital and 20 years of experience in volunteerism with different portfolios with Shia Imami Councils for Afghan/Pakistan/Canada.
She aims to work and support newcomers especially women to guide and help to have access to educational and settlement organizations.
She likes to work with people of different backgrounds to know and learnt more about their cultures and languages and lifestyle.
Shakila is a newcomer to Canada. She has over 10 years of teaching experience, has worked as a Researcher in Cooperation for Peace and Unity, Care international and deferent organizations, as well as a social worker in French Medical Institute for children and Aga Khan Foundation. As a social worker, she worked with groups of women helping them with their income and skill-building. She worked on research and surveys for different issues. She has graduated from high school and holds a Diploma in Dari Literature Faculty.
She believes in women’s right, gender equality, and supported women so that they can become financially stable.
Ariana is happily married and the mother of 2 wonderful kids. She is a family-oriented, open-minded, compassionate & friendly person. She loves helping women & people of all ages with any concerns & issues they're facing.
She has a business administration background & currently has her own skincare business from my home.
She is always happy to help newcomers in finding resistance & help them find employment through business.
Saahfiah is a millennial leader; She was born in Tanzania. She is an experienced youth mentor and team lead. She volunteers with Aga Khan Shia Imami Ismaili Council as a teacher. She is always in search of new possibilities to build he own capacity and others, especially youths.
